Titled as 'An Ode to Rajasthan', this exhibition showcased photographs of a vibrant, living Rajasthan from 1976-2016 at the seventh edition of Mountain Echoes Literature Festival, Thimphu -Bhutan

On 26 – 28 August 2016, Bhutan celebrated the seventh edition of Mountain Echoes Literary Festival. The Mountain Echoes Literary Festival 2016 is presented by Jaypee Group, an initiative of the India-Bhutan Foundation, in association with Siyahi, and is powered by the Department of Tourism, Government of Rajasthan. This diverse three day festival is uniquely set against the backdrop of the verdant Himalayas, in Thimphu, the capital of Bhutan. An initiative of the India-Bhutan Foundation in association with Siyahi, Mountain Echoes is a confluence of art, music, literature and new media of both countries, serving as the ideal platform for debate, discussion, and cultural exchange. The event will be hosting a satellite photography exhibition by Sudhir Kasliwal, called ‘An Ode to Rajasthan’.

This exhibition showcases photographs of a vibrant, living Rajasthan from 1976-2016. His gallery of black and white photographs captures the people, traditions and essence of Rajasthan in its true glory.
